Makeup and Vanity Set
MAKEUP AND VANITY SET (MAVS) is a musician and composer based in America. As a teenager, MAVS cut his teeth writing 8-bit and sample-based electronic music in Impulse Tracker, before moving into hardware synthesis while studying music in college. His university work was heavily influenced by IDM, fractal and code-based music and sequencing. Post-university, his work has expanded into scoring for film (DEATH NOTE, DARK NIGHT), television (HIT TV) and gaming (BRIGADOR, TRACKLESS). His music is heavily rooted in arpeggiation and ski masks.
