Chipzel
Chipzel, is a BAFTA nominated and award winning independent composer and performer from Northern Ireland. A lover of machines, Chipzel is renown for her unlikely choice of instrument: a Nintendo Gameboy. Over the past 10 years Chipzel has toured all over the world, released 3 studio albums Disconnected 2010, Phonetic Symphony 2012, Spectra 2013 and two EPs Fragments 2012 and Super Hexagon EP: the original score to the smash hit success twitch game, Super Hexagon.
Her work since has taken various different forms, scoring and contributing original pieces for video games and mixed media including Size DOES Matter 2014, Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom 2014, Chime Sharp 2015, Interstellaria 2015, Pixelgrams 2016 and a fresh remix for the critically acclaimed Crypt of the NecroDancer soundtrack adding her own spin and flavour to the award winning score by Danny Baranowsky.
