Alex Lane
Alex Lane is an Australian chiptune musician based in Portsmouth, UK. After his first taste of live chiptune at the Square Sounds Melbourne 2013 open mic, Alex has performed at events in Australia, the UK, and Europe, and has published releases including the albums Override (Cheapbeats, 2015) and Titan (Cheapbeats, 2017). Alex primarily uses LSDJ to write music, and has been working to incorporate a Commodore 64 bass instrument in recent music (Caustic - Forest = Win).
Returning to Melbourne for Square Sounds in 2018 will be an emotional and fun filled homecoming for Alex after two years based in the UK.
